Every client relationship begins with a personal interview either in person, via Skype, or by phone. We want to know our clients and what they are looking for — both in an advisor and in their investments. From this conversation, we strive to match financial planning and investment strategies with personalities, needs and goals, as well as risk tolerance.
Education is an ongoing process from the first meeting and continuing through monthly newsletters and market updates, regular client meetings and phone contacts. We want our clients to understand what the investment strategies in their portfolio do, how they work and what to expect. If an investor doesn’t understand or trust the investment approach, it is difficult to invest for the long term. The same applies to financial planning. When you have an end goal, the steps to get there become much easier to implement.
